Piet van der Plas
Piet is a result driven team player, with over 25 years experience in project and program management in supply chain, quality, IT and sales management. Motivated people are the key for success in changing environments, which is why he focuses on human aspects and building bridges between functional areas in transformation programs. He has an helicopter view with strong analytical skills.
After having graduated in Industrial Engineering, Piet started working as a business consultant in the area of supply chain management and IT. He worked for five years as an implementation consultant for ERP software, after which he moved to business consultancy at Coopers & Lybrand. During this period he supported multinationals in improvement projects for supply chain and business transformations in a wide variety of industries. He selected and implemented IT systems for supply chain management, quality management, CRM, ERP and more. Next in his career Piet joined Philips and worked in program management roles for supply chain management and customer excellence, as well as in IT operations roles.
Next to his professional career, Piet is chairman of one of the biggest football clubs in the Netherlands. The club is a relevant partner in local society to stimulate citizens to live healthy and be active in sports.
